Mechanical properties of our basalt fiber were measured at the Institute of Synthetic Polymer Materials, Russian Academy of Science and Kamenny Vek laboratories. The data were received according to ASTM D2343 (ISO9163). Young’s modulus was determined by means of videoextensometer.
